Club Values

Respect

We are committed to building a respectful environment for all in which we celebrate and embrace diversity, equity and inclusion.

Enjoyment

We recognise that people find enjoyment in various ways, and we aim to foster this. We promote not only the enjoyment of rowing but also encourage social interactions both on and off the water, as well as the appreciation of being in nature.

Integrity

We act in a fair, consistent and transparent manner. Club representatives will conduct themselves in all their dealings in a way that confers and earns respect and demonstrates integrity.

Accessibility

We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance, has equal access to opportunities and resources.

Inclusivity

We aim to create a sense of belonging and ensure that everyone feels comfortable and confident in being themselves and taking part in a way that suits them.

Community Focus

To bring together residents of all ages, from young to old, regardless of fitness.

Enthusiasm

Whether it’s a social row, skills training, or simply enjoying time on the water, we are united by our enthusiasm to support one another, learn new skills and grow both individually and as a team. This spirit drives us to pursue excellence and to make rowing a fulfilling experience for everyone involved

Accountability

We will be transparent about what we do, how we operate and why we operate the way we do.
