Club aims

• Create a platform to improve physical and mental health and well-being through the physical activity of coastal rowing
• Create an environment to bring all ages of the community together, helping reduce isolation and improve well-being
• Foster a culture that enables confidence and self- esteem to improve
• Take our place in the Scotland-wide and international coastal rowing community
• Offer various diverse rowing experiences, both social and competitive, for people of all abilities.

Respect

We are committed to building a respectful environment for all in which we celebrate and embrace diversity, equity and inclusion.

Enjoyment

We recognise that people find enjoyment in various ways, and we aim to foster this. We promote not only the enjoyment of rowing but also encourage social interactions both on and off the water, as well as the appreciation of being in nature.

We act in a fair, consistent and transparent manner. Club representatives will conduct themselves in all their dealings in a way that confers and earns respect and demonstrates integrity.

We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance, has equal access to opportunities and resources.

Whether it’s a social row, skills training, or simply enjoying time on the water, we are united by our enthusiasm to support one another, learn new skills and grow both individually and as a team.
